Buttons on heater meanings????

silly question but i have no idea what some of them mean. E.g (shown in pic) the snow flake button?, and sometimes it will make a beeping noise and display 'outside temp 0 degrees'

snowflake button is the A/C button as for the beeping i would assume its because it has no thermometer connected to it could be wrong though..
