Ive been using AMAYAMA http://www.amayama.com/ a few times and the prices are reasonable for most items - plus the shipping is surprisingly cheap for small ticket stuff.
Their distributor is based in Sydney, so you basically order online, they will email you to confirm your order and provide you with a shipping quote before you pay.
The items will arrive in Sydney and then their distributor will forward the items onto you. There's no hassles with import paperwork or anything!
You would be surprised with the price of some of the OEM new parts. Some parts are more expensive than a 2nd hand wrecker, and others are cheaper to buy new from Amayama than what you might have to pay at a wreckers over here.
Best thing to do is to feed your part numbers into the Amayama website and see what they add up to. For small clips and knick-knacks it would be quite cheap to buy new.

Awdmotorsports have a fair bit of stuff. I havent used them but they have a ebay shop that ships worldwide.

I had a buell motorbike few years ago and shipped about $3k worth of bits in. I just random contacted a dealer there and had no issues. Got the parts order and prices fixed then rang them to pay by visa. Customs got me tho with import duties I keep the bits under au $1k shipped

Mike, or anyone that has purchased from Amayama,

What's the lead time like? I understand they have an 'ETA'. Is that fairly accurate or do I need to add another say 2weeks for local shipping etc?

Mate, it will arrive in Australia sooner than you think and they redistribute it pretty quickly from Sydney.
My last order came in from Japan and ended up at my doorstep in exactly 14 calendar days!
