cam gears

hey guys, are evo 1/2/3 cam gears any different to evo 4 onwards? for example if I was given a set of adjustable camgears taken off an evo 6 would they bolt on without any modifications?

thanks! because i see some advertised for evo 1/2/3 and then evo 4/5, evo 7/8/9 etc, and the later model evo camgears are usually advertised cheaper!

i would have thought they would have been interchangeable

it seems when you order online on his website, it only lets you order the one part - 'cam gear for vr4 and evo1-9'
and then you have to choose the quantity - so it does not let you choose what model you want to purchase for, as if it would fit on all types of motors.

dnt tell me u got that info from ebay.

i hav looked at some cam gears as well and i hav noticed that same either say "vr4" or "evo1-9"

yeh i got that from ebay, vr4, evo 1-3, ev0 4-9 etc are advertised separately. maybe because if you own an evo 4-9 you may search for "evo 4-9 cam gears" instead

its all about marketing
linking to a search specific, if someone types in vr4 cam gears it comes up same for evo 1-3 cam gears ect.

Vr4, evo 1-3, ev0 4-9 mitsu haven't changed to design & size for cam gear sprockets to my knowledge.
