Help Support 4GTuner:

just googled pics an im not convinced mine is a cyclone, as mentioned it only has eci multi on it. the car is gone again ill get a pic of it tonight an post it up
Cheers for all the help so far

Those manifolds that have cyclone or ecimulti together with turbo intercooler written on it; both have dual runners. And those that have eci multi only have single runners.

Meh, your just addicted to boost  more boost and bigger turbo should fix it. With enough fuel in there of course.

Mine is the second one only has eci multi and single runners.
So not sure where to go from here???????????
Liking the bigger turbo an more boost idea tho

Ok so i have a vr4 4G63T in my cc gsr, my problem is it goes well up to about the 5500rpm mark an then proceeds to die in the arse. I've got a 2.5 inch turbo back exhaust , tdo5 20g turbo running 14 psi, with a pod filter also running a haltech E6X,

Considering my unopened vr4 made slightly more power (141 kw/ 190 hp - but on a different dyno) with 14-15 psi from a big 16G with standard afm and a just a chip, either your turbo is sick, your tune is conservative, or there is something wrong somewhere else.
Is the cam timing correct?
Have you pressure tested the intake for leaks?
What dump pipe are you running with the 20g?
What timing advance are you running under boost?
Etc etc.

New cams will not fix the problem, only mask the symptom.

Haven't pressure tested intake this is something i need to do aswelll as pressure testing my inter-cooler piping etc
The cams are timed correct i think, i had to redo them when i changed the engine mount a couple of months back and i tripple checked them.
Matty Sprie played with the timing when he tuned it an said there was no more power when he tried to advance them further so set them where they are
It is a relatively conservative tune in it.
the dump pipe was custom made at ashmore exhaust
i might pressure test the intake side of things, check out the turbo an get it back to Matty now the boost is better controlled an see what he can do, might bump it up a bit if the turbo is ok
