I'm not sure what sizes they come in apart from 17"?

However, if they do come in 16", I'd prefer those, as I don't want the car to get defected for ride height, which it will with the 17's

Tarmacs as you know them only come in 17s (and very very uber rarely, 18s) in 4 stud.

15 and 16" tarmacs are the multi-spoke ES model, which still look pretty tough IMO. They are a fair bit lighter than the 17" 5 spoke tarmac EVOs also.

18" 4-studs.... myth or reality?? I have never seen a set in N.Z- and if anyone would have them it would be them!!!

5-stud 18's tho.... hmmmm....

I was only really aware of the 17's but 18's would look awesome if you didn't have to massacre the inner guards and rear bumper lips to fit them properly without looking 4x4.
I'm glad tarmacs are rare as hens teeth otherwise everyone would have them.
Tarmacs belong on evos IMO
18's would be 8" wide anyway and the camber you would have to run to fit them would chew tires like nothing else

Not sure, haven't seen the FS thread.
I think 18's look too big and makes the car look like it's riding too high.
Also I don't really think that 18's are a good choice for a Track/Tarmac focussed car.
Are there any available in Japan?

Yeah they are a bit overpriced to begin with as I have seen them a lot cheaper, that is probably why that set has been up for a while.
