Car moving to Australia, need help.

HELP

Wife told me not to take the car to Australia.
But I have spent a lot of time and money on it for me to let go. Plus once settled, maybe 2-3 years, I plan to convert it to a full time drag car(van )

The car is as below:
1995 Mitsubishi Chariot GT (Nimbus)
4G63 Turbo (factory)
4WD (factory)

Modification are as below:
Fully forged engine, engine rebuild by me plus a machine shop.
3" full exhaust (no catalytic converter)
GM AFM & Translator
850cc injectors
Walbro fuel pump

Before Shipping the car over,
I need to know the things I need to do to this car for it to pass the Australian rules and regulations

If you've owned the car over 12 months (and can provide the required proof), then you don't have to worry too much about rules and regs.

How about the exhaust, do I need to re-install a catalytic converter ?

just to transport it i dont think u do.
to drive it on our roads though is a different story...

Would be a good idea though.

Iam interested if your keen to bring in some parts.

I have a set of roof rails, RS Bonnent and some garnish waiting over in NZ.
If you got a container then you can bring in wotever you want. However if you go with a car carrier your restricted in bringing items even spares.
PM me if your going to bring your car over I will pay for my parts to come over.

I think he means he can't put things inside the car, too much risk of it damaging the interior of the car and they can't be bothered with the hassle. It's the same if you get it transported on a truck, it has to be empty.
