I wouldnt mind giving that a go but I think the damage is a bit extensive. Im not to sure if you are able to see. What do you reckon?

Width a try for a few dollars worth of capacitors and cleaner. Only thing is your time.

Because I wasnt blessed with patience I popped in to jaycar got the caps I needed and went to work with the soldering iron. Much to my surprise it works now However, Jaycar or myself weren't able to identify the oscillating crystal pictured. Does anybody have any idea?
