hey, on that carmate website it says an evo3 bonnet is only 485? or is that the non carbon fibre one?

hey dude. 485 is just the normal fibreglass one.

if you read the descriptions underneath their products, one is E3 style bonnet, one is E3 style carbon, and E3 silver carbon..

they just put the same display pic for all three products causing the confusion...

the carbon one is actually $1099 and the silver carbon one is $900

ok im finding out how many people want a black carbon fibre e3 bonnet?

once we hav a few people on the list i'll contact carmate and discuss the possibility of a group buy.

i'll start:

just copy and paste what that the last has done and add ur name.
if that makes sense... :?

Sorry to turn this into a general questions forum on c/f, but is it more heat resistant then f/g ...

My problem is this ... My manifold is pretty close to the bonnet, and with the current f/g one, I have had to remove one of the vents as the manifold is so hot that it starts to burn the f/g ... Luckily it has caused no damage yet, but if the car was doing short trips, I can see this causing major problems...

Even tho the manifold is wrapped, and there is a lot of air flow, I just can't seem to keep everything there cool ... Will the c/f do the same, or would my best bet be the Aloy EIII bonnet :?:
