Carwash, Dinna & Coast Cruise

A few of my friends are Planning on going for a car cruze this saturday night, Our Mrs' are going out to dinner. Its been a while since we've headed out for a cruise , Everyone is welcome, Meeting at the Freedom petrol station/ car wash on logan road at 8 mile plains at 4:30pm to scrub the cars, catch up then organise to go somewhere for some dinner then head down the Goldy at about 8/9pm. Let me know if your keen,
Bring out anything with 3 Diamonds on the front/rear (edited for Khubner1)

also post up any suggestions for dinner or destinations

Wow if tomorrow is anything like today it will be great to be at the carwash this time of day .

I hear Beenleigh tavern does a pretty decent cheap meal and it's right off the M1 too.
or I like the Idea of heading to Cooley I know there's a Pizza hut resturaunt there too and heaps of places to eat at any southcoaster's here know a good place down there that
would be ideal.?

Hey, passed three mitsu's southbound just before oxenford exit 57, evo's or vr4's, all with hazards on in the rain parked in the breakdown lane, would have been around 9pm. Any of our guys?

LOL yeah that was us freaking just after dinna headed off from ormeau
we stopped at the dreamworld exit to exchange UHF handhelds and sync up freqs for the drive.
Then we took off back onto M1 and then after we just got up to speed we saw a shitload of Black smoke coming from 90.psi's GSR an we got on the 2way and were Like Nathan! come in nathan, you got smoke. Heaps of smoke man, you're on fire.

he must have had the tunes cranked and then finally he heard FIRE, he said did he just say Fire? WTF!
he hit the brakes and we all stopped on the side of M1 near Hope island road exit and oil was pissing all out the front end on the ground and the whole underneathe the car was smoking everywhere.
no flames as such but we had the fire pro at the ready.

then it was Tow truck time
thank god for my ultra care cover got it home in 49 Kays for free

We later determined that the hose from the oil filter relocation kit had split from rubbing on a bolt end near radiator spring oil all onto the exhast and dump pipe dont think there was any damage caused as we caught it in time and the oil pressure light never came on.

but all in all had a good night dinna was great that place is awesome hot waitresses too definately goin back very quiet us 6 guys owned the place.
Practically emptied out the skill tester machine lol, althou it tokk me 4 tries to get this one toy bloody thing dropped off at the last second and 1 even hit the edge of the prize chute and fell out again.

Hey Vince I'm helping out a mate at around 10. I'm hoping to be done by 12. I'll let you know when I'm done. Lol the oil pressure light tells you when your motor is cooked

Yea got it all fixed, relocated the oil filter and ran new hoses a different route so this will never happen again. One less thing to go wrong in the future

well it kind of was meant to be but i'd like to organise a family day out with a BBQ and bit of a drive to the beach or mountain scenic area.

I tell you guys that the place we went for dinna was a GF free zone i know if i went there with my mrs I wouldn't be aloud to go there without her again.

Very very good service staff there.
