Looks like it- unless its just got the facelift kit- one way to tell would be to check the build plate, should have 3.5 ratio instead of 2.8 transaxle.

Very rare indeed! Would have to be one of only a couple facelifts in the country!


Ive been looking a 3-piece rear spoiler aswell- a have a mate in NZ who has one for me if I want it. What do you guys reckon??

What was the big deal? You took it apart and never got it back together properly?


JAP63- its the liftback version of a Mirage CYBORG sedan (see my sig). The CYBORG sedan is basically a mini VR4, and the Lancer GSR is basically a mini ZR4. They are both C73A's.

If you want any more info- shout out!

These HAUL with 4G63T's (which if taken from a VR4, bolt straight in)
 
Borg's are pretty cool cars man. Plenty of room inside surprisingly to.. And light compared to a vr4 so with little power you'll be able to eat some v8's, or with a vr4 4G63 it'll HAMMER. What ever floats you boat.

Dre dont you have a nice borg project on the go?

Yeah- its been 2.5 years so far. Things will certainly be happening in 2009 though!


I forgot to mention- that 3-piece rear spoiler is off a New Zealand new Lancer GTi, and am fairly sure its not JDM

That spoiler is very nice and unique.
Sort of looks like the AMG rear spoiler for the Galant. :cool:

Btw that car is very schmick Jamie. I like it!

No no, i took it apart and fixed what was needed. what i mean is that it never really took my breath away. it was a nice little car, im not a fan of the solid rear and whatnot. mine never handled the way alot have said that it should have. most likely just the suspension but eh.
 
they are great cars when done well, its very hard to get somethings sorted though, as there is not many around, problems are not always easily sorted, but saying that, many are also.
they can be made to handle very well. but do keep in mine these are a 1987 technology car, so still a little crude. but no diff to older cars that can be made to handle, old dattos, sigmas the like.

Im into spoliers that actually look good- if they look better off- then they come off!!
