OK, how much am I up for EVOIII braking system in my GSR?

(Discs, calipers, hydraulics if needed, decent set of pads).

Is it easy to fit?

And is the EVOIII braking system compatible with GSR ABS sensors?

Cheers, Leon

You can use FTO brakes also ... Cheaper then Evo... That is what I did ... Had my mechanic put em on, but were basically bolt on straight away ...

Leon, I think I have read that the hydraulics do not need to be upgraded.

A further question: Do my current discs fit with the twin piston calipers ? My discs are still in good condition.

Question- are hydraulics the same in the GSR as the EVO?

Cheers, Leon

over 4 sets of evo brake conversions Ive fitted and No need for anyother brake upgrade other than calipers and disks, you may run into differant banjo fittings on fluid line into caliper as the vr4 and evo differ.
Evo staright on vr4 straight on but a sneaky little mod to make them fit.

FTO use a 276mm front rotor with a 5 stud hub - will basically bolt onto GSRs/EVOs etc... thats basically it, it's the same as EVO/VR4 but 5 stud. The rears on the FTO however dont suit AWD so you will need to have your stock GSR/EVO hub drilled to the 5 stud configuration. Better fukn wheel choice too if you ask me

What about some of the newer shape EVOS?

Do any of those brakes fit CCs

GTO brakes are really the only calipers with mitsubishi written on them ey?

I had a mate that had Subabru Liberty 04 Brakes on thefront of his CE!

they will fit, but it is still 5 stud so you will need wheels too

with ref to the CC / EVO 123 hydrolics on the bottom of the brake master you will see a 1" if it is EVO if your is 1" then the master will be the same.
GSR lancer should be 1" if it is a gx lancer i'm not sure what size they are.
