WHAT LIFTERS SHOULD I BUY?

WHERE CAN I BUY THEM FROM?

How long has it been since you changed your oil? Its probably getting thinner..

Try something easier than changing your lifters....

change your oil to a thicker grade... try Penrite 'sin' 15-70 fully synthetic... if it quiets them up, good. Then perhaps the next time you change your oil drop back to a 60 weight and listen for the difference..

I have used that grade oil for years! However im using a penrite synthetci 50 weight now, it was on sale :) but my lifters are intermittently noisy.. so next change im going heavier..

Find a happy medium that works for your lifters...

And or reset your valve clearance...

Or change your lifters..

Definitely change the lifters to the later 'revised' ones on Meek's website

They are so cheap now at $200 a set!!

They used to be close to $50 per lifter from Mitsubishi. Multiply by 16 = $800!!

Lifter noise can even be picked up by the knock sensor, causing the ECU to then pull timing, and thus performance loss

Too cheap to worry about, especially on a performance car like a GSR - It's worth having piece of mind.
