CC Lancer Coupe questions.

Hi guys,

I am posting this thread for a friend of mine. He has a CC Lancer Coupe with 1.8L 4G93 (non turbo) and finally he decided to do it up. Few months ago he wanted to sell his car, still stock except sound systems. However, there was a major oil leak on the head gasket so he got the head re-conditioned with new piston rings, new gaskets and all new belts.

These are the list of mods that will be done on his car in the next 2 weeks.
- Apexi power intake airfilter "or" Hurricane airfilter.
- 3.5" Outlet Cannon muffler (maybe 4") doesn't matter which brand.
- Iridium spark plugs & plug leads upgrade.
- Apexi S-AFC
- Pedders lowered springs
- Momo steering wheel

Future mods that should be done in about 6-8 months time are:
- 390cc injectors (from GSR)
- GSR fuel pump
- Piggy back ECU (brand undecided yet)
- H/Duty clutch
- Fidanza fly wheel
- Extractor (either X-force or Genie)

Now what he need to find out is that:
- Will the 390cc injectors fron 4G93T GSR fit his 4G93 Coupe??
- Is the GSR fuel pump the same with his original fuel pump and is that an easy replacement??
- Will the steering wheel boss kit made to fit CC GSR fit on his CC Coupe??
- What are other GSR goodies that can easily fit on to his CC coupe??


STILL LOOKING FOR FOLLOWING PARTS!!! (i will put up a WTB thread in car parts section too):
- Lowered springs (doesn't matter which brand as long as not cut)
- Cannon style muffler
- CC Coupe front bar bodykit
- Extractor for 4G93 non-turbo
- Good set of Plug leads

Now what he need to find out is that:
- Will the 390cc injectors fron 4G93T GSR fit his 4G93 Coupe?? YES as long as you tune it, i think u can do it with the SAFC
- Is the GSR fuel pump the same with his original fuel pump and is that an easy replacement?? NO its not the same, and yes it will fit, might as well get a Walbro though
- Will the steering wheel boss kit made to fit CC GSR fit on his CC Coupe?? Yes it will fit, All mitsu are the same im sure
- What are other GSR goodies that can easily fit on to his CC coupe?? Seats, brake booster if he decides to go rear brakes off an M21/GTi, Engine , throttle body, front and rear springs and shocks, might be some more but its late to think

- Cannon style muffler Autopro/super cheap
- CC Coupe front bar bodykit Ask EVO00X what he is doin with his EVO4 front bar
- Extractor for 4G93 non-turbo Could look for 1 off either a Proton M21 or Proton Gti, they come standard with extractors, or if u wanna spend more $$ order 1 from a exhaust place 4-2-1, i had 1 on my old 1.6 MIVEC and it SCREAMED
- Good set of Plug leads Cant help ya there

If he wants to do a rear drum to disc brake upgrade, then he will need the complete rear control arms, hubs, discs, calipers and handbrake cables off an M21, also get brake booster and master cylinder off an M21/GSR/EVO... while your at is throw the M21 rear sway bar on (they bolt up to the rear M21 control arms)
