topic: changing the lights in the climate control & gear selector

does anyone know if they lights in the climate control are festoon / T10 or are they hard soldered in?

also same question for an automatic gear selector illumination.


FYI - 4 x T10 wide angle LED will do amazing things for visibility of speedo cluster dials

Never did the gear selector.

But from memory of removing the center console, it was a single t10 globe in the side that twisted out.
