I am after the ABS G force sensor from a CC GSR, located just behind the gearstick, under the centre console.

If anyone is wrecking/parting out a CC GSR then please let me know and we can work something out.

I've been chasing an ABS fault for ages, sensor rings cleaned, replaced the ABS motor and valve relays, replaced ABS ECS with a unit from meek, its much better than it was; judging by the way the ABS light flashes on start up there is a fault on the ABS G-force sensor (but intermittent).

Hence I decided I would do a swap

Hi Vince

No, what happens is that, on start up, the highlighted pattern of ABS warning light flashes always happens (for ignition on, and start up), and then the ABS warning light goes out. After that, it usually stays out (about 3/4 of the time) and whilst it is not on, the brakes work properly and the anti lock function works (I have confirmed this numerous times on a wet, quiet, dead end side street with a sudden brake application from about 10kmh).

About 1/4 of the time, after setting off, the ABS warning light will come on after a random period of time (maybe a few minutes of driving, maybe an hour) and stays on, and when it is on the ABS function no longer works (also confirmed), though the brakes still work (of course!!). If I am driving along and the ABS light comes on, I can make if go away by turning the ignition off and on, the ABS light may not come on again for the rest of that trip, no matter how long, or it might come on again within a few minutes, there is no pattern that I can detect. The best I can come up with, after lots of reading and doing the things I have listed, is the G-Force sensor, hence my query

On another note, I have finally got hold of some EVO1 wheels, so I will be able to finally fit up the EV01 front brakes I bought off you!
