i got a mate who has an black evo 1 for sale.. its is petty much stock..
the cars can still start and drives fine, the only problem is the bottom end is knocking, can supply and fit with a new motor at an extra cost.. but rather not! as he doesnt have the time to do it.. due to lost of licence, so he cant be bother doing anything to it.. so his selling it..

oh.. sorry mate.. yer its the same car but that plate doesnt belong to that car and its not registered to any other car.. its belong to my x but i have em lying around somewhere here :D but yer the car is full stock now..

if i had the money i would of snap this car and fix it up and resell it for more..;)

i will try get some pic of it and will post it up when i have the time to go his house as i live on the other side of the world..:)

guys just to let u know i checked this car out awhile back and it did have a few issues...

i will list them for buyer beware as thats why we have to forums.

it did have roof rust showing...

the engine was already changed...

the paint was rough and would need a respray...

some other rust bits and pieces...

car would be a good project car if someone wants to put the money into it

dishonesty would be selling a 'mint' evo in a1 mechanical condition.. as seen on other posts.
it's 11k ffs.

what he mean if i was dishonesty i would be posting up a Thread as a FOR SALE 'MINT' EVO 1 IN A1 mechanical condition.. and with 11kono its not a show car.. yes the car is not perfect needs a bit TLC..

but yer if you still want it.. i'll take as many pic as i can and i'll sent it to you.. like roof, engine bay etc.. but if you dont want it.. doesnt really bother me.. save me time going to his house..

and for Grant i wanna know where the some other rusted bits and pieces beside the roof that you said it was... so i can take pic of it too so i can show the others!!
 
i'm not going to mention specific lemons being sold on this forum.

you wouldn't notice a dodgy motor without thorough inspection, so why would sikwpn mention it? honesty.
as a mechanic and engineer, we could jazz it up to look the goods and wack on 5k to the price tag.. but we're not interested in making profit, just helping a friend sell a car (besides, thats dishonest).

fwiw, you'd be lucky to find a genuine evo for under 20k without any of the issues listed.

cant remember all of it tbh was awhile ago i saw this car... from what i remember the boot had some spots like it said it would be a good car for a project car.. dont take it the wrong way but u really should inform people that it will need repairing and things like roof rust which can be an expensive task.

other then the things that i said it seemed to be a good car just needs work.

I spose it'd be a fair enough price if the car could be restored for around the 18-20k mark....i myself dont have the time this year or the coming year to do it so I guess now i no that it requires that, I'm out....

Ive seen some E2's though that appear very good and are at about 17K, guess it depends on whether people want the assurance that after theyve built it up its all good, which is what u can get with a project car.

My mate has a mint 32 GTR, after the motor blew from a stretched conrod (accidental downshift) it wasnt worth anymore than 8K really, and no one would pay anymore either, so he bit the bullet and fixed it to keep.

Good luck with the sale, people arent realy buying at the moment with the current financial shit thats going on, alot of cars are sitting...

Anyway, all the best with it.
 
Im sure the comments made were in good faith, not trying to deter potential buyers. You have to remember its now a 15y.o car- time is getting on and you would be fooling yourself if you expect it to be mint.....

A genuine EVO around the $10k mark its still pretty much a bargain, as long as its straight and only needs a bottom end rebuilt......!!
