Just a word of advice to people who might have intentions of buying this car in Vic , this car was bought from an auction in WA as a repairable write off and now has to go for a VIV inspection here to see if the car is repaired to standards ...reason being its under 15yrs old at time of accident and if doesn't pass, kiss your money goodbye....

Another thing to top it off, it has an issue of having to be re-engineered before registration due to the case of floating around in other states unregd, so that includes all the ADR checking and emissions testing....

To sum it all up if if you got the car for 10k, add $440 for VIV + up to $1k for engineers + cost of rego/stamp duty and transfer fees so you're still taking a punt if it passes all this or not..... if its knocked back in any way you will have a non compliant/unregistered car.... and dont forget the cost of getting it transported down if need be...

Please note, just because this car has had a rebuild no issued once before here by vicroads," it doesn't mean jack all" as this information has been quoted to me by the VASS dept of vicroads....

Good luck to whoever is bidding on it that it passes all the criteria above prior to being rego'd...

yeh its like a cc gl I bought it needs a VIV and the LHS rail is bent bad and the crossmember has bent the firewall, thats why Im wrecking it now :cry:

if your going to buy get it checked properly before you buy
