Nice as dude. He basically said Exedy is rubbish.
He isn't going to tell you to rush out and buy an Exedy clutch because he would be out of business in no time!! If they are good enough for OEM clutches, they are good enough for me!

I hear what you're saying but I don't think he's the dirty businessman type. It seemed like he had a genuine (technical based) dislike for them.
Besides I never bought anything from him. I bought from Meek so he wasn't losing any business - but he was still good enough to put 30mins aside and have a chat!
I don't think he would have any shortage of business in any case but yeah each to their own I guess. I'm off Exedy personally.

jims a true enthusiast aswell he's more than happy to chat to anyone who has a geniune interest in getting a good clutch to match their car. if that clutch happens to not be one of his he'll happily sell you it or point you in it's direction. he will even peice together or make a specific clutch to match your car

Seems good by whats written there but there are several different setups which one did you go with and hows it going for you? Feel/how many kms you done etc? Thanks.
I got the first one, the TZ SS, but it is in my project car and has yet to move from the shed, so I don't have any personal feedback, just putting it out there for other options for you to do your own further reading, just from what I read from others on other forums when I was looking, they were always very positive

Yep, cushion button for about 5 years, plenty hard launches an dropping in 2nd to step it out
Only just let go 3-4 weeks ago, still had plenty of meat but split it apart from the rivet things, for the price ill use another 1 on my new engine

I'm currently using a exedy HD pressure plate with the Meek revised OEM friction plate, (after my exedy friction plate spat a spring) and it stands up to my abuse quite well (although I've only got 200awkw).
