Clutch slave cyl - evo 1-3 different to VR4!

Ages ago I got a kit for the slave cylinder (when I was kitting the master cyl), and recently went to put it in, only to discover that the VR4 kit has a different piston diameter to the evo 1-3!

From discussions I've had with other people, it seems that the slave cylinder was revised for the lancer (from the VR4) to improve the location of the bleed nipple. So I'd prefer not to put a VR4 slave cylinder on.

Does anyone have a part number for a slave cyl kit that suits the evo 1-3?

dont know how much it is to reco but I bought a new one for $115 for a evo 2

I thought that canvassing the internet warriors was probably a good place to start, especially since I wasn't in a hurry.

I'm surprised that nobody has come across this before, even Chris Meek didn't seem to kmow much about it.

You can get a new slave cylinder from Repco or Veale in Perth for a 4G93 GSR.

Now I don't know if this is the same as the EVO 1-3, but it may suit your application, and at $80ish its probably better than a re-kit, unless you are putting a stainless steel sleeve in.
