Ok it's beyond the joke now  .

I need a clutch..

Just a stocky organic whatever with a Heavy Duty pressure plate.

How much is it gonna cost? Jon I'm looking at you

no jase
i think you need a 4 puck ceramic dude..

u've love it!!
trust me =)

and no its not overkill

stock cars should come out with this!

Can also get clutches at cost.

Have driven Chris's (DJB) with Jon's clutch - is good. Nice bite, not heavy on the pedal.

clutch was fucked, but to my excitement (read: sarcasm), my gearbox housing has a huge crack in it.

oh joy.

one like Djb's?

full face.. half ceramic and half organic? or do u want a full organice that has dual friction?

Jon

you know the setup im headed for Jon, wat you recomend... I just obtained another gearbox as mine was noisy as a mofo and the right angle drive was crunchy...

that aside, how much am i lookin at for a clutch when i put this new box in ? Cheers :D

450 for a box is a good price..
although i've sold mine for 250 .. but they are worth more than that...

get a new box..
better than welding.. the welds could make it weaker, and end up cracking again..

hey lewis.. any recommendations?

everyone has told me i can trust this bloke.. he reckons welding it is the best option

your right everyone ive spoken to praises those guys. im iffy but. is he giving a warranty on the welding or what? and whats he charging to weld it?

Welding it up is a simple fix yes.. but what happens if it vibrates and breaks off.. and then..

gets tangled up with the flywheel?... bye bye engine and engine bay and hello bonnet scoop :)

for the sake of $450 id recommend buying a new box and just selling ur old one to a rally guy as they would pay up to $300 for your box!

Jon
