Hey guys I was seeing if someone can point me in the right direction here.
I'm looking to get a cold air intake or enclosure for the GSR and what is classified as an enclosure (as I don't want headaches with defects etc).
I know many people have made the own but was curious if there are those out there who sell them as I can't find them :D.
Also pics would be great if you had some of your own setups.

Thanks in advance guys.

I made my own took many templates to settle on this the finished product

i bought some small cable ties and flexible ducting from autobahn
76 mm diameter 1metre long($28) and went from under the factory airbox with k&N panel to the front of the car through a tight gap behind the headlight. took me 10mins. sounds mint, gota love that induction sound

Awesome, definitely keen for some pics.
Is that MNTL's old car?

Yeah I was thinking about doing this, as in going back to standard air box with aftermarket panel filter. Also makes a aftermarket cooler legal too (VIC laws). I reckon this might be the way to go with the flexi pipe. This is the one that can be stretched and shrunk yes?

+1 for pics matey!

yer i bought it off him,ill get some pics up soon of engine bay
and yes you can stretch the ducting and it will hold its own.

I'm currently running a piece of 5" SCAT tubing from the front bar up to my air filter, ive started making a plug to make a mold to make a fiber-glass one tho, its proving to be a big pain but interesting. Here are some pics:thumbsup:

Here's my effort with a bit of a DIY write up:

Bought a few pieces of plastic piping from Bunnings:

Used some pieces of cardboard as a rough template:

Transferred the cardboard onto a sheet of aluminum and begun bending the box into shape:

Connected the Plastic Pipe to the Box, obviously will be tied to front bar when it goes back on:

Cut holes out, and test fitted with intake Pipe (excuse the rest of the mess :) )

I've made 3 CT9A cold air Intake boxes, all of these have been to suite battery relocation with aftermarket intake pipes, but have all been for inter-state owners so no pics on ct's as yet.
