his been doing a few dodgies of late. had a set of my mates wheels, we had to go to the cop station to eventually get them back. alot of headache.
but his work is not too bad from other wheels ive seen done.
there is a place in Kilsyth that do powdercoating and another place in clayton/springvale area too

What do you mean - He wouldn't let you have the wheels back? Had you paid for the work to be done?

short story, he quoted 3 days to get the job done. took a deposit. 2 weeks went by and he didnt have anything done. phone was turned off and he hasnt been at his business address for 2 weeks, and a month longer prior to that according to the nearby businesses. we went to his mailing address which is actually where he lives, ask for the rims back with another guy who hasnt seen his CE28Ns wheels for 2 months. he gets all pissy at us and says his mum died/his been in hospital.(few other guys in the past dealt with him and his also told them his mum's died too, one incident was in 2008).
then he tells us to pretty much fk off and the wheels will be done on sat. sat comes round and the wheels havent been touched. so we get the cops involved, they contact him blah blah blah and eventually get the wheels back. now its a matter of getting the deposit back.

I ordered some phantom rims a few years back from doctor rubber which was in Richmond. $2000. Cash. 2 weeks later they still hadn't arrived from supplier in Sydney. 3 days later the staff were taking stuff Coz they hadn't been paid for a month and the business was closing down.

Ive had 6 sets of wheels coated by Craig, 3 sets were the 4 stud enkei tarmacs. I never had any issues, at all....

I never had to leave a deposit either.

S15ETA on the forums aka Harry is a panel beater and he sprays mean wheels
I think he charges around the $70 a wheel mark.. have to ask him urself.
