With the addition of a new family car, a work car I drive daily since Sept 2013 and keeping the Ralliart Magna as my spare car to drive on weekends (when Im not in the coupe) I have no need or time to drive my trusty 1993 UF Nimbus anymore. I will be sorry to see a good reliable working car go that has never let me down apart from a new replacement starter motor a couple years ago.

The rego ran out on 22nd December 2014 and I am not re-registering it. A roadworthy/pink slip will be as easy as driving down the road and getting one. It needs nothing to get one. The Nimbus is complete, drives fine, everything works. Has aircon, power steer, power mirrors, power windows, central locking etc. Goes quite well too as many of my friends have borrowed it come back surprised at how well it goes.

I rebuilt the 7-bolt SOHC 4G64 EFI engine a few years ago and has around 70,000 kms on it. It is an OEM non turbo engine and was just a standard rebuild with new rings, clutch, bearings, gasket set, timing belt, cat converter and waterpump.

It also has 16" mags with good Bridgestone Supercat tyres (which were about $200 each. Wheels are 4x114.3 PCD same as GSR/EVO). There's more than 50% tread I'm sure of it as I haven't been driving it as a daily for about 16 months now. The car just sits there unused for a rare weekend drive whenever required. To be honest I haven't driven it in about 3 months as one of my mates has had it whilst his 4WD has been in for repairs.

I was going to strip the Nimbus down and keep the 7-bolt 4G64 engine block for myself as 4G64's are getting hard to find now, but I think my car modding days are over and Im going to sell it. Then also sell the FWD gearbox, mag wheels and other parts separately. Front brakes are the same as EVO I-3 and GVR4 twin pots. Has nolathane front inner lower control arm bushes which you need in an RVR/Nimbus to stop front suspension knock from the crappy oem rubber bushes.

Car will suit anyone who wants to re-rego it and use it as a 7-seater or parts runabout. I've driven it to Sydney and back several times without issues. They are easy to work on as they share plenty the same as a 4G63 engine.

Alternatively the car will suit someone looking for a complete working 4G64 engine that has all the parts, sensors, wiring etc, starts first go, including a FWD gearbox. An AWD gearbox can also mount up to it. You might even decide to strip the engine for the stroker crank, whack on a 2L DOHC head and chuck make a 2.4L turbo DOHC engine, or destroke it to 2.1 turbo. There are various other ways people may want to modify or use the engine and parts.

Car is located in the Newcastle area NSW.
Price: $1k. Drive away. Just don't get caught when driving away lol

If the car doesn't sell on here to a member within the next couple of weeks then I'll list it on Gumtree. I'm sure it will sell on there as cheap 7-seaters for this price with a good engine should get snapped up by large families, soccer mums, backpackers, surfers or some one as the back seats all fold down into a bed even.
