Here's a run-down on what it cost to get the cyborg I recently bought on the road....

Car- $4000
Car freight- $195
2x rear doors- $220 (borrowed the fronts)
Compliance and roadworthy cert- $880 (minus 4x side intrusion bars)
Stamp duty- $160
Rego- $576 (or something like that)

At the end of the day, take into account factors like tax, rego and compliance, set yourself back around $2k.
