Hey people i want some help.I have a 1994 cc lancer GLXI.just want to know if its posible to mount a gsr head on to the same block to make it a twin cam? If so what modificationce and what ather parts will i need?

why bother mate? you can get an entire GSR engine, complete with inlet and exhaust manifolds for well under $1000 these days.
You're just wasting your time and money with the SOHC.

All signs point to yes.
You will however want to be changing your pistons (or run a spacer) to lower the compression a little. But other than the dohc head/timing belt it will all be plug and play (spares from a gsr engine). Would not think that sohc block has the oil squirters either.

If you get the head for free...

Plus I think that it will save you some licensing issues as the engine number will not change.

Hey guys thanks for the responce.so if i do get a GSR engine is it a straight fit? or will i have to change the mounting and stuff? is there any 1 who can help me with the conversion?

fits straight in mate, you can even use the glxi mounts. I'm 90% sure GLxi box bolts up to it as well.

You will need GSR loom + ecu as well, and most likely and upgraded fuel pump (like an in-tank walbro)

Piss easy conversion into a GLXi.
Use stock FWD gearbox and FWD flywheel on a 4G93T engine
A GSR engine loom plugs straight into the interior loom of a GLXi
Use GSR twin coil setup and ignitors and injectors
GSR or similar fuel pump
GSR ECU
GSR intercooler
GSR AFM
Need to have your exhaust modified to bolt up to the turbo dump pipe.
Then youre basically there...
