Coolant in the car

Does anyone have the front heater core for a 1990 galant.

I have coolant leaking in the passenger seat. I dont want to drive it to get more coolant in it

i may have one from a 88 if its the same ? if so you cover post from wa and you can have it , if you cant get one local

Bypass the heater core. No heater and no leaks

^ thats the easy way out....otherwise its a big job to replace the core.
If your going to do it...I would recommend getting a new one from a radiator joint..putting another second hand one is ludicrous considering you dont know the condition etc...you will possibly be doing the job all over again sometime soon.

Yea easy way out till you get the bits together and a weekend to do it.

yea mine leaked all over the floor too about three years ago, I blocked it as well because it looked like I might have to pull half the Dash apart to get it out, only used it twice while it worked anyway.

its not really that hard to get out once you get in there awkward as **** but only the glove box and a few lower trims need to come out. i experinced this first hand on the weekend pullin a loom out to give to jack .

I already bypassed the heater.

I might try to call around local for one and do it myself. Itll be a pain but at least i wont be bored on the weekend.

Not easy to find stuff for galants :'(
