Cusco Radiator Deflector - Measurements anybody?

Does anybody have a Cusco rad deflector shield for E1-3 that they would be willing to measure up for me?

I was just reading the post on the mini-meet tomorrow night but I've got a 10.30pm phone hookup with the Americans and Koreans for work :cry: so will have to give it a miss.

u still want the measurements? what kinda measurements do u need? like furtherest point to futherest point? or more detailed?

and Dan is it hard dealing on yahoo auctions? i find the language barrier a bit of a problem even with webpage translation, i tried asking a question to a seller and never heard a response

Shaun - I was hoping to get detailed measurements, but after seeing that pic on the yahoo site I might be able to nut them out myself! Until seeing that I had no idea how they really sat in the engine bay. Only question is - from that pic I can't tell how it's fastened in place (other than by the bolts on the front bumper).

they bolt in under the radiator top brackets, u can see the 2 holes at the top on each side where the bolts go thru

One question I do have is how thick is the aluminium it's made from? Obviously not 3mm but I'm assuming it's anywhere from 1.6 to 2.5mm given it has to bend.

Hi All,

Could somebody with a Cusco deflector please take a pic of the cutout area around the latch, and if possible put a ruler or something in the pic so that I can determine a scale.

I'm still keen to try and make my own.
