Hey guys,

After struggling for so long to find a replacement rear engine mount for my RVR i decided to make my own custom Polyurethane 93A PU items... And the good news is i made spares!! :)

At this stage ive got front and rear 'PU inserts' ready for anyone who needs their engine mounts replaced...
These ones are specifically made as a performance upgrade so if you have already done or are looking at modifying you're engine then it may be a good idea to upgrade your mounts at some point too.

What i have are the 'orange inserts', which means you dont have to throw away your original metal casing, but simply heat up the original rubber, knock it out including the crush tube or cylinder, then replace it with the high performance PU item. Otherwise give it to your mechanic for them to do.

To get a replacement from eBay you're looking at $75-85 and up to $175 for side mounts. So this way is about half the price for double the strength.

For 4gtuner members they'll be available for $45 per mount/insert, plus postage.

If you're after some for another car then let me know and ill see what i can do.

Good question, ive edited the above description...

Im wanting to find out if they fit any VR4's, evo 3's, 4G93's or anything else?? So if anyone know if their mounts are the same let me know :)

Thanks boys! Yeah ive already got an order for left and right mounts so ill be making them up next week.

MDK87, cheers man, ill message you

I dare say ill end up doing the whole RVR suspension bushing set too... Not for a while, but should be next year.

I had 2 lots of these now (on 2 different RVR"s) they're fantastic...
Thanks boys! I'm yet to try my own products on my car yet :/

How has it helped? And has it made it feel too rigid at all?

I can say it does feel like it hooks up better.... and now i feel the car heaps more, as in lumpy idle etc... the gears use to be hard to shift when boosting but nice now.. (probably because the old mounts where stuffed) i can bring the car down to you and have a drive.. i like the feel some might not but well worth the change in my opinion..

I'm in the process now of getting the east/west mounts made up.... Thanks to Benny :) They should be ready in about 2 weeks....

Personally, at this stage I'm going to run standard East/west mounts on my rig just for a bit of comfort cushioning.

Well, they took a bit longer than 2 weeks, but after a bit of a mission to mould them up the left and right PU engine mounts are finally available! :)

Ive just listed them on eBay for $55 plus postage, but if you're from here they are yours for $45 plus postage...

Be aware that all my mounts i make up are a bit of a prick to slot in as they are seriously tight, but ive only had positive feedback from anyone who's installed them.

Ill be in Bali for a few weeks as of Tuesday so if i dont get back to you straight away then im obviously more concerned about sipping my next Bintang ;)

Note: Custom crush tubes are supplied on the Left and Right mounts, but the Front and Rear are designed to use the standard crush tube... So dont throw it away until installed

So these fit a gsr north south bar? I will take a set thanks

And do the east west mounts fit a gsr at gearbox and a vr4 mount at timing belt?

I think the vr4, gsr and evo 1-3 share the same size timing belt end mount but in very different brackets.
if they will fit, i will have a set of them also.

Im pretty sure the evo and vr4 kits are the same except for one roll stop mount?
