datalogger/wide band

Help Support 4GTuner:

Nice!

I've been running the LC-1 and DB-Blue gauge and they are very good units.

Do you have an aftermarket ECU?
If so does it have analogue inputs?

The LC-1 has 2 analogue outputs so you can run 1 to your gauge and the other to your ecu and log it VS rpm / load / boost etc etc.

As for accuracy, it is not exactly the same as an AUTRONIC wideband BUT it is very close.

Why dont you want to install a gauge in your vehicle?
You want it portable?

I want it to be portable to use in different cars.....one has a crappy wolf 3d. the other two have standard ecu with chips atm....but we were going to try the ostrich on one.

Ah ok.....

So you will be making a tail pipe probe etc?

That handheld unit does look good although if you plan on using a laptop you can log with the LC-1...

Street tuning or dyno tuning?

bit of both on the tuning.....dyno to start and then hopefully abit of fine tuning with the logger/wideband. however its a learning curve and all will be done with a good deal of care and instruction from others more informed.

I am thinking of welding bungs in..........but have seen a couple of tailpipe probes. I am not sure wether the cable is long enough for a tailpipe set up.....its 8 feet.

You could easily extend it.

How much did you want to spend?

Autronic out of budget range? They are a great unit but very bulky and pricey.

Autronic out of budget range? I will check them out. around 500 is what i can get an lm2 for

bought the LM-2 ......I would be singing the high notes in a girls choir if I had spent the money on the Autronic:blink:. it does look the goods tho.....however I believe it would have more functions than I am capable of using and understanding.

made the purchase on ebay in the states....it said it would be 500 including post at our exchange.......bloody paypal which I thought is part of ebay charged me 529.00.
