?400m in 14's is slow for a stockie? xt is current model designation for what was the gt. the non-turbo forester is a slug...

I'd like to see it do 14s stock

mitsubishi all the way baby :D had a mazda familia GTR and in comparison my gsr seems to handle better especially when coming out of corners and accelerating.
In comparison to rear wheel drive cars, they're in a league of their own, I mean my track car (4 door skyline GTST) is quick but in comparison between the two i have to say my gsr handles better around the track, eventhough the skyline has pretty much a great set-up (cusco everything).

The wrx drivers up here all have ego's, thinking they're the next best thing since the invention of the wheel, so its always a pleasure blowing them away in my lil girl

id be happy to run a WRX rally car (just for ease of getting bits etc) , but for street cars Mitsubishi all the way :)

I agree with availability and price of wrx parts. But happy i can rally with a standard gearbox!

Trev

i drove a mates forrester gt expecting it to be like a wrx...
all i did was take off, u turn and got out...
it sucked balls...

mitsu's baby!

standard STi gearbox's are still ok, aslong as they are driven propperly.. ive never busted a box, but know plenty of people who have busted as many mitsu gearbox's as thoes who have done box's in there subi's.. least the doggie for the evo is cheaper..

although ive loved evos and gsrs since high school started.. my brother used to have an 02 wrx .. leather and sunroof and its a pretty comfy ride.. and the rexy rumbles are pretty nice..

here is a pic of his car btw

I would have only one wrx, sti 2 door 22b, they run low 13s stock standard and do look pretty tuff

otherwise Mitsubishi all the way even for the daily driver

My shed now consists of...

One Landcruiser (HZJ75RP)
One VR4 (90 model Aspec w/mods in bits)
One GGSR (On the way hopefully... just the shell)
One Subaru Impreza RX '00 model
One Telstar TX5 2.5 litre v6 undergoing a twin huffer conversion.

I have too many things in my shed.
