directions to the dandenongs/sky heights lookout

hey guys,
any of you guys know how to get to the dandenongs or the sky heights lookout in the dandenongs?
I need to take someone there for a day out on sunday :wink:

go straight down toorak rd, which turns into burwood hwy and follow that till you hit mountains

you got a melways? theres some nice roads up that way.

is there some place up there called sky heights? i've heard people mention it...
any particular cafe's/restaurants that i should stop off at?

from memory Sky Heights is the name of the cafe/restuarant at the main mt dandenong tourist lookout.

i could be wrong though (its happened before )

matty is from the other side of the mountain, so its best to go up ferntree gully rd... then when u go down, go down the canturbury rd way...

yeah sky high is a cafe/restaurant with a nice lookout..
i remember when it was being built you could drive your car close to the lookout and take a pic of your car against the view.. looks soo nice!..

google was the last place i thought of looking, i tried the mt dandenong tourist info thing, yellow pages, etc.
possum cafe? i remember you telling me about that joint... nice scones and stuff? i might take the other one there :lol:
