They fit, but are an automatic defect if you don't get them engineered.
WILL FIT IF ONLY YOU ARE USING THE SEAT RAILS THAT CAME WITH THE EVO SEATS, OR THE SEAT RAILS FROM A EVO I-III, PROTON SATRIA GTi, PROTON M21 COUPE (BECAUSE THEY ARE ALL RECARO SEATS TO SUIT CC LANCER FLOORPAN).

^^^^ what he said they're standard oe replacements and optional extra try do not require engineering because the rails etc already have adr approval. Anyone that tries to tell you otherwise has not read the NCOP (qld) or the vsi (nsw) both of which state replacement seats on factory rails are fine. It when you have to fab new rails/brackets that you need engineering

Sorry, but how are Evo 6 Recaros "Standard equipment" in a CC GSR Lancer?
Evo 6 Recaros were never offered as an optional extra in a CC GSR Lancer - The car didn't even exist when the CC GSR Lancer was made??
Just because the Evo 6 Recaros came from a mitsubishi, doesn't make them "OEM equipment" for a CC GSR.
OEM equipment must have been specifically designed and fitted to that exact model car from the factory to be classified as such.
That said, if NSW and QLD rules have no issues with replacement seats as long as the original CC GSR rails are used, then I guess there's no problem in those states doing that. Obviously things are stricter here in S.A. than over there.

They are considered as a manufacturer substitute that does not require any modifications to the seats or rails to be fitted into position.

lol....I have them in mine. Never had an issue with blue slip or pink slip inspections... Thats more than enough reason for me...as well as whats been posted above which backs up exactly what I said, nothings been modified..they are a bolt in job.boostboy76 said:

Only JDM GSR rails that came with factory fitted Recaro seats. ADM GSR's stock/shitty seat rails won't work with Recaros mate.Evolese92 said:
