hey guys, i have an evo 2 intercooler and pipes that im fitting to my gsr and i have just discovered that the intake pipe doesnt match the gsr throttle mouth thingy

this is my one


i think the rubber evo pipe is 2.5 inch?

will an evo throttle body replace the gsr one?

please help

otherwise could i cut the tip off the gsr one and just hose clamp the pipe to the remaining bit of alloy that is a wider diametre to the end?

Buy an aftermarket tb elbow off meek.
Either that or modify yours.

I just used the GSR upper pipe that joined to that. From there I used the Evo loop around to the front.

Without upgrading to an Evo throttlebody and having the inlet manifold machined to match, there will be next to no gain/loss from using the Evo vs GSR pipe in that section.

a good upgrade is to port out the intake manifold to match up to a v6 magna throttlebody. use the 3lt 1991 to 1995 v6 one and all the elec parts match up. also use the magna throttle body bolts.
