HI there,

Looking to run equal length drive shafts in the cordia. The vr4 intermediate shaft fits the block with some modification, however, when coupled with the vr4 outer shaft the assembly is too long.

Easiest option is to fit a CB lancer cv joint to the vr4 outer shaft. This is supposed to shorten it 20mm and allow the shaft to fit the hubs. I have ordered two new CB cv shafts, they shortened my life.

Anyhow, apparently the CC GSR outer shaft is shorter than the vr4 outer shaft and fits the vr4 intermediate. Can anyone confirm this?

Are the spline counts correct? I mean magna changed count around cc lancer time.
Dont the cordia have the stupid 2part front hub like a colt, or do vr4 have that as well.
cant you use a second rhs shaft on the lhs? There is some room to shorten the inter shaft and redo the clip groove id reckon. Idk if you can fit the strip out the plunge cup and fit the cordia tripod to the vr4 plungecup tho.

I think the Gvr4 shaft is 20mm too long overall. Andrew (bitza) has achieved the correct length using a CB outer cv joint and "newy vr4" over on cordiapower had the same results using the cc gsr outer shaft on a gvr4 intermediate.

I'm using Gvr4 rs hubs with a cordia driveshaft on the drivers side and working on equal length for the passenger side.

Not perfectly, but much improved over the passenger shaft being near double the drivers side.
