How much difference does a dump pipe make?

I changed from an Atmo venting dump with 2.5" down pipe, to a Standard Cast TD05 dump pipe, My Car has lost it's "fun" it's not as urgent as it was before (it's heaps quieter tho) Boost is late, and it doesn't seem to be has hard for similar PSI....

Can the standard dump pipe be THAT restrictive? i love the screamer, but driving to work everyday with it was loosing it's fun. Should i get the screamer plumbed into the Exhaust?

or get another dump pipe...

well i know on the e5+ its not that restrictive hence why im just modifying my stock dump to fit.

but the front pipe is where your best gain for power is.

I couldn't actually understand what you were saying at all...

But, having the wastegate dump to the atmosphere will get rid of boost creep.

He is saying that since he put a stock dump on it feels as if it has lost its "punch"
Think about it mate, its a stock dump pipe. That pipe is made that way to help reduce exhaust noise, help with emissions etc etc. It will have a difference going from a stock dump to say a 2.5" or even a 3" dump. I would suggest getting a 2.5" dump with a long wastegate runner that joins in the collector.
