G'day.
Finally have finished my VR4 rally car rebuild. Slight crack in the dump pipe to be welded yet.
175.4kw at the wheels and 325nm torque. The Cyclone manifold has been setup to work, and it does the job.
Boost peaks at 15 psi and then drops down to 12 while the power is still building. I guess the increased air speed from closing the long runners is what does the trick.
Very happy chappy.
Rallying at Gallangowan on 23rd November if anyone wants to drive up for a look at a great event, good spectating, cold beer and warm greetings.
Go to the meat works at Kilcoy turn right and follow your nose to Jimna, then on to Manumbar along the Kilcoy/Murgon Road. Turn right onto the bitumen at Manumbar Road (-26.398443S,152.271727E) and the service park is on the right up the road.
Cheers
Ross.

wow impressive kw figure especially on such little boost! is that with a 34mm or unrestricted? I just went unrestricted and love it... so much better than before. still less KW that that but much more torque

good luck at Gallangowan

I am running a 34mm restrictor. The cyclone manifold has been setup to the Autronic and is excellent and the power is smooth in the delivery, can't tell when the runners close. Power peaks at 5800, anti-lag cuts in at 5000.
Bill at C and J Motorsport really knows his setup.
Will post after Gallangowan to let you know how it goes in a rally.
Cheers
Ross

Sure Jamo. We are hopeful of borrowing a GoPro for the event. There is a cash prize for the best pirate's call of the notes in one stage.
Hahaha.
