Okay guys, since there could be some interest in traveling over to New Zealand for the 4 and Rotary Nationals, i'm going to start a poll.
Up until I moved here to Aus in 2002, I used to go to the "4 and rota nats" every year. I'm what you would call a local.
The event is run over 3 Nights, Friday and Saturday show n shine, usually held at the Logan Campbell centre in Greenlane, Auckland. Its a showcase of what N.Z's scene has to offer. The 3rd day is the drags which is held about 50 mins South of Auckland (or 2 hours on the day :lol at Champion Dragway in Meremere.
Depending on costs, i'm going to see what I can organise for us. You're probably looking at around $550 for flights if you book in advance. Accomodation could be around $50-70 per night each, for a self catered apartment, in central Auckland, kinda like THIS.
Other expenses like entry tickets to the event (I could maybe get a discount from my mates whose brother who is the editor of NZPC magazine) and stuff like a van hire to get to the events (if there is enough of us willing to go) could be sourced at a later date, transfers and food, will depend on the number of people who are keen to attend.
