E3 Crank angle sensor

Hey,

Did the stock E3 ever come with a crank angle sensor? It took the lower cover off and there are mount points for it, also saw on some facetube videos some of the 4g63 have the sensor.

Any issue not having it? Or not needed...

Not e3. Rvr did. Also some usdm 7 bolts. Its a obd2 compliance thing afaik
The mounts are on a lot of the oil pump covers.

i pree sure it's on the rvr ones but not evo but they use similar to same parts

Yours is built into the back of head.

do you have more mounts behind intake cam wheel on head?

GVR4 and EVO I-3 have the CAS at the back of the intake camshaft on the side of the rocker cover dude.
RVR have the crank angle sensor behind the crank pulley. Have a look at the 6 minute mark in this video. The guy removes the CAS from a DSM which runs ones like the RVR.
