Oh yea, maybe just unbolted the tailshaft. Why wouldnt you just fix it? Or maybe he jacked the car up under the shaft and its fubar.

Only one reason insurance companies have big buildings. They make more than they pay out. Its a gamble.
Just means you drive it like you have to pay for it. And also, you could salvage most of the goodies for another ride even if it is written off.

I'd be more worried about salvaging myself from the wreck of a CC chassis, not exactly the safest things out there
and thats a pretty expensive gamble haha
