genuine 3 sold over here for 15000 a few weeks back.

That yellow EVO III on carsales looks genuine, but the way it looks registered seems suss.
There's no yellow plate personal import plate on it to be rego'd in NSW. There's also no REPV replacement vehicle plate on it to be registered in Vic etc.
Its registered as a "CC Lancer" and has a stock 1993 compliance plate on the firewall.... this is an EVO III built in 1995/1996!
Plus a 'GC' paint code Im sure is for a Green coloured CC Lancer. Yellow paint would start with "Y".
Other info from Compliance plate:

Build Date = May 1993
Paint Code GC (Green).
Trim A3
Option E67
Option D49
Option S77

Anybody in their right mind wouldnt touch it unless they were interested in it for parts or as a competition car, because it looks like its been rego'd on the 'dodgey'.
