I have a 89 jspec vr4

hav a few uptgrades to fit
bosch fuel pump, 16 g turbo, 720cc injectors and evo 055 maf

i also hav an ecu that has already been socketed

who do i see for a chip to run these upgrades safetly
im in brisbane

Any help be much appreciated

Welcome.

I think most people use Meek hey. If you know how to edit the crap inside the chip to achieve what you want, I have an EPROM burner. I just don't know how to program them.
I would love to learn though.

i think the ecu is a Jspec single board ecu with the removable eprom?

the id numbers that are usually on the outside are gone as the ecu has been painted yellow

Well that's what I'm getting at, we are slowly getting enough different chips up here to suit a variety of different configurations that it is almost worth buying parts to suit the chip, and not the other way around.

i got a chip for 750's that you could just copy of me

cars been going good
only 8-10psi
will let it run in for a while
make sure everything is reliable
then turn it up a tad
running a bit rich though
how can i sort that out?

i was gonna sell the chip for a 100

Sean, if you have the patience, bear with us, I just have to finish organising my computer and then it should be sweet to try out.
I'm pretty sure copying EPROM's wouldn't be very difficult, as most software these days make it as simple as copy/burn. It's confusing whem you start to modify the contents.
