Hi boys new to forums hoping some one can help with ecu swap

I want to put an 92 aspec ecu in my 89 jspec vr4 is pins 6 and 14 the only ones i have to swap
i want to chip the ecu i have or find one chiped as i have ready to go in 055 afm and 560 injectors with big 16g also will the cyclone monifold still operate correctly

Welcome to 4GT coasty, hope you get the help you need here

Firstly, why are you swapping an Aspec ecu into a Jspec? Is there anything wrong with the Jspec one and is it a single or dual board ecu/

Also, with the Aspec ecu, the cyclone will not work properly unless you do a bit of tweaking...just use the search function, you're bound to find a fair bit of info on this issue around here.

Get a USDM Wiring harness, theres a few parted out on Galantvr4.org. Get Ecmlink with an Eprom Ecu and use that plus the FPR Solenoid to activate your Cyclone....

Thanks mike yes it a dual board ecu i have in the jspec
i also have 92 vr4 that im parting out so i could take the inlet manifold of that and use that ecu
or should i find jspec ecu that has a chip in it if that will work the cyclone manifold
just not certain which way to go
i will still have to get the aspec ecu socketed if i go that way so im thinking it might easier to find one already done
