just wondering if anyone has shoved a EVO7ish ECU into a VR4 yet?

i really dont want to go microtech atm and really just want to have a ecu that i can track and street everyday without shitting it self every time i put my foot down (my VR4 ecu is telling me to GTFO by hesitating alot)

any thoughts?

Maybe try a different vr4 ecu and see if that is causing the problem. And not ignition problems or running really lean.

If you looking to be able to tune....
I was thinking of going the evo 7 route, but the ecmlink lite would be a much better option in my opinion so i did that instead

+1 ... If the current ECU is giving trouble, get a replacement and use the ECMLink. I cant really think why you would want to go the E7 route after tuning with ECM Link !

do u guys run Version 3 of ECM link?
how much was it?
is it hard to use?
do u use a laptop with the link?
if so what is a good laptop to get?
does the link slot into where the chip goes in the ecu?
