Hey guys, now i dont know if you guys can help me but lets give it a go anyways, heres a list of the things ive tryed to get my instrument cluster working:

ive checked all relays, fuses and solenoids, body control module, instrument cluster(under dash/under bonnet) and swapped them with my other lancer which the cluster works fine in, no effect

ive swapped instrument cluster itself with the other lancer, and the cluster from the lancer im having the troubles with worked fine in the lancer i just purchased, so the cluster is fine, and had no effect

ive taken the under dash plug/fuse/relay block out and inspected it,it seems fine(gonna get some contact cleaner tomorrow and see if anything changes) no effect

ive probed for power to the instrument cluster plugs and the fuse(also swapped fuses obviously) for power and there is power(under dash)but has no effect(also checked to see if all the pins on the plugs are seated flush

ive taken the stereo and combo switch out(thought that was the problem because im not getting the wiper side of the combo switch to work which is part of the problem as well as no gauges andthe climate control backing lights arent working) no effect

checked for any unplugged plugs or earths, that may be causing it, cant find anything

checked the speedo sensor on the gearbox, has no effect

checked earths and power leads under the bonnet, nothing seems loose or disconnected

and ive checked even more, even things that may have nothing to do with it,at one stage whilst i was doing the conversion i had the fuel gauges working, now i have nothing and am seriously running out of knowledge and tests to diagnose this problem, and it doesnt help when both of my multi metres are dead flat to check ohm's in circuits, like i said im no sparky, but ive been in the car scene for a while and know most of the shit, but this has got me stumped... so any advise or suggestions WILL be appreiated, more so if someone has had this ridiculous problem before.

CHeers and THanks

yer sorry about that, i was pretty tired when i done the post, and yes its about the instrument cluster, chears for spotting that

You dont need a multimeter, just a buzzer. Make sure things that are supposed to go to earth go to earth, and make sure things that are supposed to go to battery go to battery.
