hey does anyone know of anywhere in the sunshine coast or brisbane area that can re-bush my 88 vr4 engine mounts? used to get them done in auckland for only $40 each but cant find anywhere in qld to do them!

Look on Ebay and buy a set of Prothane 1g mounts mate. Just fit them yourself, easy job to do

I've got some prothane inserts that I'll probably end up selling, only because the mechanic that was meant to put them in while the engine was out forgot.

im assuming you want them urethane filled? i was checking it out awhile back and didnt have much luck finding places that would do it for cheap.

really just after rubber mounts..
are prothane mounts harsh at all? never used em before

i have a press so fitting them is no problem

My car does vibrate a little bit with the Prothane's in but I do have 272 cams as well.

There is a rubber bonding place at Redcliffe or Deception bay somewhere. I have their brochure at work. If you mounts are not cracked, by some Sika Polyurethane windscreen sealant and fill them up.
