okay so its almost time to chat to an engineer to see what they have to say about my future mods to my car.....

since a few of the Vic crew have had their cars engineered, i was just wondering if you guys had any feed back on your engineers?

i do have the list off vic roads site in regards to engineers in Vic... but was wondering if there was an engineer that anyone would suggest?
easy to talk to, straight forward, not an a-hole, etc?

any help appreciated..

cheers
Jay..

i think this is national, if so you need to know the vsb14. download them and study them. then you will be on the same page as the engineers.
my engineer is pretty cool, i tell him what i want to do, he says yay or nay. then i document progress with photo, descriptions etc. then we plan the tests.
i have only just put mod permit in for this car, but last one had chassis mods and all, (brumby with wrx driveline) he just said to replace the metal with same thickness you remove, and the vsb say the same thing.

in wa, there is an application to fill in, called modification application for light production vehicles. its internet location no longer works, but i handed my application in no probs couple of days ago.
pm me with email and i will forward it if you want
ring infrastructure to find out what they want. the application gives approval in principle and takes 4 weeks. you arent meant to start mods till you have approval (oops)

I chucked up the list On here a few nots back. Jean from endeavor hills was best priced and very straight through :)
