Hey guys,

Up for grabs are the ultra rare Enkei Tarmacs in 18" and 5x114.3. These are 7" wide and +40 which would suit guys that have done 5 stud conversions on their VR4's or CC Lancer/EVO 1-3. Selling with NO tyres. These wheels are unbelievably light and can be lifted up over your head with ease.

I bought them 2.5 years ago on ebay for $1425 and were on my daily driver at the time until I got a flat tyre from a pot hole on Pascoe Rd, Glenroy which revealed a small (15mm) crack on the inside of the rim. I sent the wheel to be repaired, only for the shop to come back and tell me they couldn't fix magnesium wheels and they didn't have the expertise to fix it.

The attempt at fixing the crack made the area slightly worse (20c piece) but the wheel is still able to be repaired by someone who knows what they are doing. I haven't looked too far into it as I simply have zero time to do anything anymore, due to working crazy hours. These have been in storage ever since they were removed and now I don't even have a car that fits them. The idea was that (one day) I would have another GVR4 with a 5-stud conversion that I could fit these to, but i'm in need of some cash to finish off my lowrider project which is why i've listed them up for sale. These could possibly be the only set of these wheels in this particular size in this country! We all know how sought after the 17" versions of these are.

Taking into account the potential cost of repair, i'm willing to let these go for $600 firm. I can also ship these Australia wide using www.e-go.com.au which I have found to be cheap and reliable shippers in the past. I live fairly close to one of their depots (Campbellfiled VIC) and could box them up and drop them off for you free of charge.

Any questions, feel free to pm me

When the person I got to fix it welded the crack, it didn't bond (obviously) and the alloy weld is still in there. It needs to be cleaned up and re-welded properly... anyone who (really) knows what they are doing when it comes to Magnesium wheels will be able to fix it properly. I did a quick google search today and found that there's a couple of engineering places that repair the magnesium wheels that V8 super cars use. If (for some crazy reason) they can't- i'll refund you the cost of the wheels, and pay for shipping.

Bump, would like to move these asap! Find another wheel in Japan or find someone to fix it- $600 is still cheap for 3 18" Enkei Tarmacs!

Perfect offset for your 5-stud E39A VR4!!!

Did you put a deposit down?

EDIT: Tbh I'd be doing the same thing. I'd offer you the wheels again at 1k but if you couldn't pay I'd let em' go to the other dude unless a deposit has been made. Seems unfair but we'd all do it.

No as I was waiting on dimensions of the boxes so I can give the freight company everything was confirmed with dre and i

That's pretty low still. I understand he got more for them but I also believe in loyalty, when u agree on something then u have to stick by it
U were all pumped to get these too :(

Ahh fair enough. I've had to deal with a lot of idiots and timewasters on fb pages so I usually give stuff to the first person with the cash.
At the end of the day they're Dre's wheels and he can sell them to whomever he likes but it does suck when you're set on something and it doesn't work out.
I hope you two can sort this via PM. I'm thinking this thread will be closed soon anyway lol
