What do you guys think? This EBay seller is a contact of mine and we could organise a group buy at a good price if people are interested? I may even be able to start something up between us. He also has the G-Tech's http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/G-TE...0QQihZ011QQcategoryZ46100QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

cheers

Rob.

I would be interested, definitely. Then I can run in closed loop! Haha... also, I think it's a valuable tool, everyone should know their AFR. The only real question, is does it have a peak hold? Then we can know for sure if we're leaning out...

Oh, they seem to suggest it goes in the stock location, but surely being a different sensor to stock would require it to be further down the exhaust than the dump pipe?

It doesn't have peak and hold but is loggable through mmcd :)
I used a spare port in my ecu to connect it to (egrt).
Logs perfectly for you can check on the afrs right through the rev range :D

It also comes with bung to weld into your front pipe for the sensor.

Time for a howto write up dude ;) Iv been looking at this model AF guage for awhile now. But didnt think i could log it against RPM :(

Bugger! That means that I will have to try and remember what I did...lol
I'll give it a go!

You need to connect the logger wire from the gauge to pin 15 on your ecu.
This is the egrt port. It is not in use so you will either have to rob a pin from another ecu or just jam the wire in there :) ( it does work btw!)

I spliced the power wire into the ecu's power while I was there too.

On your mmcd logger preferences select wbo2 instead of EGRT.
That's about it really!

I now have my wideband gauge :D (A Innovate one)

Does anyone know the voltage range of that EGT log option ? (Looks at Dave) As i can customize the outputs of my WideBand module (It has 3 outputs (1 digital - 2 Analog)

Was that on a ASpec ECU ? Mines a JSpec, and i already have a wire in pin 15 :(

Yep, mine is on an Aspec.
Not too sure about the J's?

I have a White or Red wire in pin 15, everything iv read says it should be a blue\yellow stripe :s

Does anyone know if the JSpec has a EGT probe factory ?
Guess i could always just cut the wire
