screw trailering it lol if it breaks on the trip, break out the bush mechanics lol

Do any WA guys want to organise combined transport? Im keen to go either way  thats if my car is over here by then, or i could just leave my car in NSW till the meet.

Give us your contacts mate!!

So the choices

HEATHCOTE- 1/4 mile
MILDURA- 1/8 mile
SA- any tracks available?
ULARU- hmmmm... lots of red dust
QLD- specific suggestions??
NSW- WSID??
ACT- any suggestions?

WA BARBAGELLO:cool:

WSID and eastern creek raceway are 2 different places, wsid is a dragway and eastern creek raceway is a circuit. WSID is in the city of eastern creek though, they are right next door to each other but yeah 2 separate venues.

Sydney powercruise is held at Eastern creek raceway.

QLD - QLD raceway/ LAKESIDE RACEWAY/willowbank drags/ Willowbank motorkhanas/ Willowbank autocross circuit/ Archerfield go karts and drift track/mt cotton hill climb track/

Fixed

Years ago, when I was a P Plater (insert old fart joke here), we used to have 1/8 mile drags on the straight at Lakeside (organised by the local cops) and the best bit was having to drive the rest of the track to line up again .

$500- 1000 a week to cover travel and shared accommodation.
Some of you interstate boys could probably work out a car carrier cheaper than separate car trailers if you knew someone with the appropriate truck driver's licence?
Then again some cars are tough enough to 'race it as they drove it!' :p

i have a truck licence.. you find one to hire i'm happy to drive it

lol... i'l be good i promise, might just have to take em for a test drive to make sure they survived the trip ok ;)

I think Adelaide and Mallala should be thrown in the mix. Plus we have Collingove Hill Climb.
That being said I'm happy with Mildura too, as long as there is enough to do. I won't drive to Syndey, as I'm sure most other SA'ers and WA'ers would agree it is quite far.
So I would say Adelaide, Mildura or at a stretch Melbourne.

I would think Adelaide would make a great venue as we now have access to Seymor (Tailembend), which is the former Mitsubishi Testing facility..

It would be perfect as it has a large skidpan, a 1km long acceleration straight, a complex of roads to be used as a race track, or autotest/motorkhana/superkhana etc.. an off road section, about 10-15kms of gravel roads, a huge workshop with hoists/washdown bays etc... as its only recently been opened for hire its still quite cheap (aprox $600-700 per day + cams pemit (they can organise for us))

As Jon said we've also got Mallala, colingrove, awesome country roads etc

That sounds quite reasonable and cheap!!!!
There could be numerous events staged at a place like that :)
The more events the merrier.
