Hi Guys,

just gauging some interest in the wolf 3d i have, it has never been in my car, comes with complete vr4 wiring loom. I'm just trying to get back what i paid for it and that is $600+shipping.

I have decided to just get my ecu chipped as the only mods i have are injectors/afm/turbo.

Cheers

if you only paid $600 mate, keep it.

you will get good results with it. i have a v4 on my road car and its great.(r32gtst)

i had full exhaust, front mount, air filter and coils etc..

went from 120rwkw to 176rwkw after the wolf was fitted

its not that hard to install mate... if those shops can install a microtech / autronic / motec then they will be able to install the wolf..

an autoelec should be able to do it also...

are u good with electrical stuff?
give it a go yourself...

baz can you give me an idea of whats involved, a wiring diagram if you have one and what i have to keep running from the factory ecu if anything. as i said it's just an EOI at this point in time, but if no one wants to install it how are they going to tune it

the wolf is a full stand alone unit mate, it would replace the standard ecu.

yea not worth selling... a chipped ecu wont be that great... coz whos gonna tune it for u...

the issues u are having is due to the bigger injectors etc... so just get the wolf on and get it tuned u will make more power then a chip...

as baz said just take it to an autoelec... and give him the books say install it.... then u just gotta get the tune...

the thing is, no one in brisbane wants to tune it or install it, and i don't have the books to do it myself, i was considering getting a keydiver chip and a apexi afc neo

it is a standalone, but u can wire it in just to piggy back timing / fuel etc.

allows you to go back to stock if u want to later down the track...
tuning is just like tuning any other ecu.

im sure if u find a tuner who actually knows how to tune, they'll do it without a problem..
